Introduction
A bridge between two cities
Founded by business leaders from Hong Kong and Hangzhou, the Association is a legally incorporated non-profit organisation.
It brings together entrepreneurs and professionals from commerce, finance and related fields to advance trade, cultural exchange and shared prosperity. It also provides a lasting platform for Hong Kong businesses in Hangzhou and Hangzhou businesses in Hong Kong.
Its formation was supported by the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR, the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, Zhejiang University, the Hangzhou Residents Association (Hong Kong) and the wider community. Through visits, roundtables, project showcases, education and public service, the Association turns a relationship between cities into working ties between people and enterprises.

Hangzhou and Hong Kong
Hangzhou’s private economy and culture of innovation complement Hong Kong’s international finance, professional services and global networks. The Association helps projects, talent, experience and friendship move between them.
